In this project, my idea of using fighting fish as an object came from one of my Thai fighting fish. It is the most special fish among so many fish that I have seen. Regardless of the color, tail, and characteristics, the fighting fish is very A special type of ornamental fish that looks very beautiful, but like its name, it likes to fight with fish of the same sex.
Throughout the project, I kept observing and searching for the characteristics and shapes of fighting fish. As they grow up, the color of some fighting fish will change from light to dark. Each fighting fish cannot live in groups and can only live in one place alone, otherwise, they will fight each other.
And I chose this theme because, in my daily contact with people, I will feel that people often unintentionally attack others, language, behavior, etc. when they lack security.
The characteristics of fighting fish remind me of these human behaviors.
Everyone is independent, but it is also necessary to step out of their comfort zoom and constantly exercise and strengthen their sense of security.
In my work, each object is separate, because it is like fighting fish that must be kept separately in space. However, different patterns also represent the sense of security that different people need. Some people need praise from others, and some people need to successfully build their own sense of security in the personal field.
There is a weak place in everyone's heart, and every one is carefully protecting the most vulnerable side. May everyone have a strong heart and love
